Paulo Costa turned a UFC 327 win into one more surreal Miami moment when a cageside exchange with Donald Trump started spreading everywhere online.

Then the clip took over. After the fight, Costa jumped over to greet Trump near the cage, and the conversation quickly became part of the story.
At the post-fight press conference, Costa did not want to fully unpack what was said between them. He told reporters, “As for Trump, I just kind of jokingly talked to him and then I said some things that were personal. So just keep it a secret for now. It was just between us.”
That mystery did not last long. Video that surfaced later showed Costa thanking Trump directly. According to the clip highlighted in the source report, Costa said, “Thank you for everything you’re doing.” Trump then replied, “You’re a beautiful guy, great fight.”
The exchange kept rolling from there. The source article says Costa appeared to answer, “I could be a model if I stop fight[ing].” Trump then added the line that sent the clip flying across MMA social media, saying, “You could be a model you look so good. You’re too good looking to be a fighter. You are some fighter. Thank you man.”
Costa was later asked about that exact compliment and laughed it off. He said, “Yes that part was true. Thank you, Mr. Trump.”

Paulo Costa finally gave people a reason to talk about the fighting again
The clip was funny on its own, but it landed harder because Costa actually handled business first. He did not leave Miami with just another meme. He left with a stoppage win over an unbeaten opponent and some momentum he badly needed.
