Donald ‘Cowboy’ Cerrone Happy To Be Alive After Catastrophic Cave Dive

Donald Cerrone Nearly Dies In A Catastrophic Cave Dive: ‘I Am Happy To Be Alive’

Former UFC title challenger Donald Cerrone is known as biggest thrill seeker on UFC roster. He does some pretty insane things to satisfy his itch for danger. Sometimes one wonders if fighting inside the Octagon for a living isn’t enough for him. ‘Cowboy’ mostly participate in wakeboarding, rock climbing, surfing, etc. Back in 2015, Cerrone almost left his lungs full of water during scuba diving incident when he dove all the way down to the bottom to search for $500 worth of silver.

In his most recent social media post, Cerrone details the incident, how he almost dies during a cave diving adventure in Mexico. He didn’t reveal if he got any severe damage.

“Today I can honestly say I’m Happy to be alive,” wrote Cerrone. “We had catastrophic worst case scenario on our dive. Total silt out , lost the cave line and lost my buddy couldn’t see my own hands was the most scariest moment to this day in my life. I remember kissing Danger and Lindsay and saying I’ll see y’all soon, don’t worry daddy’s coming home!!!! Told the grim reaper “ Not today Mother Fucker “ I’m figuring this the fuck out and coming home !!”

It isn’t the first time Cerrone put himself in a dangerous situation; luckily he escaped the death. Hope ‘Cowboy’ learn some lesson from this ordeal and try not to involve into such stuff in future.

Cerrone is slated to face Mike Perry at UFC Fight Night 139 in November from Denver, Colorado. Their bout is expected to co-headline the event.
