Donald Cerrone Wrote That He Is “Just Waiting” On Conor McGregor!

Donald Cerrone had few very interesting statements after his fight last Saturday. “The Cowboy” confirmed his UFC Lightweight division return. He also said that UFC offered him “an exciting opponent” for his 155-pound showdown. Yet, he didn’t reveal the name.

But take a look at his Instagram post below. It could be a match against the most popular UFC fighter ever – Conor McGregor! “Cowboy” hopes The Irishman will accept his callout!

Just waiting on him! 🤔. “ I know a guy” 🤠

Conor McGregor trash-talked everybody at “Go Big” press conference in Las Vegas on September 4, 2015. His victims were Rafael dos Anjos, Jose Aldo, Chad Mendes, and Donald Cerrone.

The former UFC Lightweight division runner-up didn’t forget McGregor’s actions. In February 2016, Donald Cerrone stated he wanted to fight “that p*ssy” Conor McGregor. “Cowboy” also warned him to “slow his f*cking roll” and stop calling 170-pounders only.

In October 2016, Cerrone accused the Irishman that he behaved like a little kid behind the scenes. Yet, he agreed that “The Notorious” was good for the promotion of the sport. In November of the same year, “The Cowboy” confessed that he was jealous of Irishman’s “ass-seating abilities”.

Donald Cerrone had a score of 2-1 in his last three fights. He defeated Yancy Medeiros via TKO at UFC Fight Night 126 on February 18, 2018, via TKO. Then he lost the fight against Leon Edwards after fantastic five rounds via unanimous decision at UFC Fight Night 132 on June 23, 2018. “The Cowboy” earned a spectacular first-round armbar victory against Mike Perry at UFC Denver last Saturday.

Conor McGregor is the richest UFC athlete in the history of this sport. He defeated Eddie Alvarez via fourth-round TKO at UFC 205 on November 12, 2016. Then he had a boxing match against Floyd Mayweather Jr on August 26, 2017. “The Notorious” lost via tenth-round TKO. In his last UFC fight, Conor McGregor is submitted by Khabib Nurmagomedov in the fourth round. They fought at the main event of UFC 229 on October 6, 2018.

If “The Cowboy” really wants this fight that much, he’ll have to wait. Conor McGregor is currently under suspension by NSAC (Nevada State Athletic Commission) for his role in UFC 229 post-fight incident. His hearing is booked for December 10th. Let’s see what happens next!

Would you like to see the fight between Donald Cerrone and Conor McGregor? Their striking is outstanding. “The Notorious” is a master of one-punch knockout! On the other hand, Donald Cerrone had many head kick knockouts in his career! His submission game is great too. Who would win if these two collide?
