Don’t go to sleep tonight without checking out our ONE FC: Destiny of Warriors video

Malaysia is generally a Muslim country, so it’s impossible to find real bacon anywhere on the island. For breakfast, they serve ‘fried beef slices’ that tastes exactly like bacon — just without the bacon. There’s something about thinly-sliced pieces of pig flesh that go exceptionally well with fried chicken embryos in the morning. For the people of Malaysia, they will never experience our Western dietary ritual. They don’t seem that worried, however. When you have two giant futuristic towers connected by a floating bridge, bacon doesn’t really mean that much in your life. Babalu Sobral told me that you have to pay to get to the top of the Petronas Towers, and you have to get there early otherwise it closes. Later that night, Babablu armbarred Tatsuya Mizuno in thirty-one seconds. Those events are probably unrelated, but it doesn’t negate the fact that they’re both dipped in sheer awesome.

MiddleEasy took the trip to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to document ‘ONE FC: Destiny of Warriors,’ the promotion’s fourth MMA event. It was beyond impressive so our LA videographer, Patrick Fogarty, captured reality on his really expensive camera and composed this slice of Asian MMA for the world to see. We’ll be back in Asia on August 31st for ‘ONE FC: Pride of Nations’ in the Philippines, but if you want to watch our previous ONE FC event videos, check out our Event Coverage page on MiddleEasy.

Heads up, be sure to change the quality of the video to HD. It pierces your brain.
