Dillon Danis Attacks Khabib Nurmagomedov And His Team On Social Media: “Your Teammates Come From Behind And Rabbit Punch Me!”
The undefeated Russian submitted Conor McGregor in the main event of UFC 229. But as soon as the mach was finished, Khabib Nurmagomedov jumped over the fence to teach McGregor’s training partner Dillon Danis a lesson.
Khabib told Russian outlet Kommersant that Danis provoked him with religious insults. In the episode of Joe Rogan’s podcast, McGregor’s coach John Kavanagh said he didn’t hear Dillon Danis saying anything to “Eagle”. Kavanagh also added he stood next to “El Jefe”.
This vid shows Khabib's Dominance MMA managing partner Rizvan Magomedov harassing Dillon Danis who pushes him away as Nurmagomedov notices the skirmish & jumps in to assist. Since this incident, both fighters went back and forth on social media so many times. Here is one example where Dillon Danis got busted savagely.
But it looks like the social media war between Dillon Danis and Khabib Nurmagomedov is far from over. “El Jefe” wrote a message on his Instagram account for Khabib and his team.

@khabib_nurmagomedov You ate a beautiful timed counter right hand as you landed plus absorbed multiple uppercuts from the clinch, to stop me from lighting you up like a Christmas tree you proceeded to run away. While I am being restrained by law enforcement your teammates come from behind and rabbit punch me a cowards move. Who’s the honorable team?
NSAC hearing was held on January 29th, 2019. Both Khabib and Conor received penalties for their roles in shameful UFC 229 post-fight “spectacle”.
Conor McGregor, who was slapped with 6 months and a $50,000 fine, thanked NSAC for “fair assessment and handling of the brawl incident”.
Khabib Nurmagomedov will be outside of Octagon for 9 months and needs to pay $500,000. But his “wake me up when it’s all over” reaction to the NSAC suspension was just epic!
Also, Khabib’s sentence could be reduced to six months, but it is hard to believe the undefeated Dagestani is interested in completing an anti-bullying campaign.

It looks like the current champion has different comeback plans, especially after his cornermen Zubaira Tukhugov and Abubakar Nurmagomedov received one-year suspensions.
What do you think of Danis’ latest Instagram post?
