Dillon Danis got into a scuffle with KSI and took a punch from Anthony Taylor at a DAZN event.

Danis, a former training partner, and friend of former two-division UFC champion Conor McGregor has found himself in hot waters again. Just last week, the controversial Brazilian jiu-jitsu veteran got into a brawl with mixed martial arts fighter Nate Diaz outside Madison Square Garden after the latest pay-per-view of UFC 281.

Dillon Danis was in attendance for Saturday’s “DAZN X Series 0003 Misfits Boxing” event when he crossed paths with social media sensation KSI, who has been making a name for himself as a boxer in celebrity boxing matches. The two traded verbal jabs before KSI challenged Danis to try and make things physical.

Danis proceeded to follow KSI’s request and smacked the hat off his head. The physical exchange drew security members to jump in and separate Danis and KSI.

Danis’ troubles on the night did not end there. Seasoned boxing and MMA professional Anthony Taylor spotted Danis outside the hotel. Taylor has served as a prior training partner of internet icon-turned-boxer Jake Paul, a longtime rival of Danis. He ran up to Danis through the thick of the crowd and managed to crack him with a right hand that temporarily wobbled Danis.

The former Bellator star was escorted out of the arena after the incident.

Danis has been out of action since his last outing against Max Humphrey in Jun. 2019. With only two outings inside the octagon under the Bellator banner, Danis chose to step away for an extended period of time to allow for his body to recover.

Bellator president Scott Coker indicated no discussions with Dillon Danis had taken place regarding a potential comeback.
