With Chael Sonnen apparently facing a few issues that could jeopardize his rumored The Ultimate Fighter 14 coaching spot opposite Michael Bisping, it seems other fighters are sniffing around for a coaching role on the MMA reality show.
We had Jason “Mayhem” Miller offering his always entertaining services. Now we have the former “Nightmare”, Diego “The Dream” Sanchez campaigning for the show. Sanchez, who is riding an impressive 2 fight win streak, has thrown down the challenge to Strikeforce Welterweight champion and MMA bad boy Nick Diaz. Speaking from his Official Twitter account, Sanchez Tweeted:
“@danawhite me and Nick Diaz for TUF coaches, I think we have earned it. Our fight chemistry will forever be epic! Our rivalary would be LOCO! … To all my followers let’s push for me and nick Diaz as tuf coaches I know the fans want it again.”
With Diaz running short on challengers after finishing off Paul Daley, And Sanchez looking for a step up in competition, could we see this happen ? It seems Sanchez has ordered his Twitter army to push forward and make Uncle Dana listen to his pleas.
