Diego Sanchez takes the decision over Martin Kampmann

UFC on Versus may have been broadcast in 3D but it was missing something. You know what it was? Tonight’s show severely lacked the blood splatter on the screen effect that some videogames have. Someone needs to get on that technology right away. Just a nice big spray of blood on the screen every 20 or 30 seconds during the main event between Diego Sanchez and Martin Kampmann would have been perfect. Maybe some force feedback rumble technology is the next step?
I am going to stay far away from relaying my personal opinion on Sanchez/Kampmann, but if one dude looks like he went from being Mexican to Asian in the span of 15 minutes and still gets his hand raised at the end, something about judging in MMA might be off. At the events Judges are handed the stats of the fight as they tally up their scores. I have witnessed this. So how any judge can look at these numbers you are about to see, then up at the face of Diego Sanchez and call it a win for “The Dream” baffles me. If these judges were the doctors in New Jersey Fedor would have continued to fight. So maybe I did just give my personal opinion…oh well, maybe I’m wrong, it wouldn’t be the first time.

Props to Tracy Lee and MMAWeekly for getting those baller shots up so fast. Nice Playas.
