This installment in today’s Nick Diaz news. Ever since the entire marijuana incident, it seems like Diaz has made a daily appearance in the MMA tabloids. In fact, I didn’t even mention the fact that Diaz has talked with CSAC to create ‘Therapeutic Usage Exemption’ Program which will allow him to smoke marijuana and compete in MMA. Just thought you guys were getting worn out on Nick news. For those of you who love Diaz news just as much as Nick Diaz loves inhaling a drag from a glass bong, Cesar Gracie told Sherdog.com that Diaz is planning to return to the ring in DREAM against Hayato ‘Mach’ Sakurai.
When Diaz competes in DREAM, the should temporarily rename the organization ‘Weed Nap’. For those of you who are not familiar with Sakurai, he will forever be known as the guy who beat Shinya Aoki…twice. Joachim Hansen can also be added to that list along with Jens Pulver, Frank Trigg and Caol Uno. Dude has gone through legends. The date for Diaz’s fight in Japan is sometime in October but since there are two scheduled DREAM events, you would have to be Miss Cleo to guess which one Nick Diaz is going to appear in. [Source]
