What’s this? Some sort of sitcom? JDS, the overly nice and helpful yet scarily dangerous killer with his zany roommate, Bigfoot Silva goofing around post UFC 160? Sounds like a winning three camera comedy to me. Cue the long-dead audience for the laugh track, let’s put JDS and Bigfoot in an urban setting, maybe an apartment they’re sharing with some cute girls that don’t understand fighting across the hall as a season 1 love interest, and we may have something here. You see, the girls will also be used to explain MMA to the audience that doesn’t understand that world. JDS can have the Save the Cat moment and Bigfoot can constantly be getting in trouble and having his hand caught in a Pringles can (Oh, Bigfoot, not again!?)
With a clever title, this show could take off, the archetypes are there, and I can’t wait to see Bigfoot having to land a job as the mall Santa during the holiday episode…
