Earlier this week, former UFC bantamweight champion Cody Garbrandt got under fire after series of old social media tweets from 2012 and 2013 unearthed on Wednesday.
Garbrandt who’s gearing up to face TJ Dillashaw in the main headliner of UFC 227 was unwilling to discuss the topic in his recent interview then explained that those controversial tweets are the product of the past before abruptly ending the conversation.
‘No Love’ is focusing on his rematch with Dillashaw, but still many are trying to putting him down about his controversial tweets. An outspoken UFC heavyweight Derrick Lewis came to former bantamweight champion’s defense and said Cody is all good in his books.
Check out Lewis’s reaction to Garbrandt’s controversial tweets:
It’s all good @Cody_Nolove you still invited to the cookout

Lewis is coming off a disappointing unanimous decision win over Francis Ngannou at UFC 226 last month in Las Vegas.
Cody Garbrandt will square off against formal rival TJ Dillashaw in a rematch at UFC 227 which is set to go down Saturday (August 4, 2018) from Staples Center in Los Angeles, California.
As Lewis is forgiving of ‘No Love’, do you think fans need to let go of those tweets as they are decade old?
