Derrick Lewis Set To Meet Junior Dos Santos In The Main Headliner Of UFC Wichita

A Heavyweight Fight Between Junior Dos Santos And Derrick Lewis Is Set To Headline UFC on ESPN+ 4

Earlier today MMAJunkie reported that Former UFC heavyweight champion Junior dos Santos and recent title challenger Derrick Lewis would headline UFC’s fourth ESPN+ event which takes place Saturday, March 9th at INTRUST Bank Arena in Wichita, Kansas.

Dos Santos recently picked up a win after knocking out up-and-comer Tai Tuivasa in the second round at UFC Fight Night last month in Adelaide, Australia. Former champion missed the second half of 2017 after testing positive for the banned diuretic hydrochlorothiazide, later USADA found that Cigano’s failed test was a result of Brazilian pharmacies selling him contaminated supplements. Upon his return from six months of suspension, he defeated Blagoy Ivanov via decision last July.

Lewis (21-6, 1 NC) is coming off a submission loss to Daniel Cormier in a heavyweight title fight at UFC 230 on Nov. 3. In 2018 ‘Black Beast’ fought four times with a record of 3-1. In which he picked two come from behind knockout wins along with lackluster decision win over Francis Ngannou.

UFC Wichita will stream live on ESPN+.

Who do you think will come out on top?
