After months of campaigning UFC welterweight, Darren Till getting his wish fulfilled as he will lock horns with Stephen Thompson in the main event of UFC Fight Night 130 in Liverpool, England on May 27. BJPenn.com first reports the news and later confirmed by MMA Fighting’s Ariel Helwani.

Darren Till currently rides a three-fight winning streak in the UFC, with wins over the likes of Jessin Ayari, Bojan Velickovic, and most recently Donald Cerrone back in October 2017.
The former welterweight title challenger Thompson (14-2-1) ended a two-fight streak at UFC 217 with a unanimous decision win over Jorge Masvidal this past November. Before this win, Wonderboy fought reigning welterweight champion Tyron Woodley to a draw at UFC 205 and lost by majority decision in the lackluster rematch at UFC 209.
UFC Fight Night 130 is set to take place May 27 at Echo Arena in Liverpool, England. The card will kick off on FS1 following early prelims on UFC Fight Pass.
