Jorge Masvidal didn’t step inside the Octagon since November of 2017 where he lost the bout to two-time welterweight title challenger Stephen “Wonderboy” Thompson via decision. Prior to that setback, he came up short by another title challenger Demian Maia via split decision. Masvidal was briefly linked to fighting Nick Diaz at UFC 235 later UFC President Dana confirms the fight is no longer happening as Stockton native doesn’t want to fight.
Darren Till last fought back in September of 2018, where he lost the title fight against reigning UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley via submission (D’Arce choke).
The UFC London fight card also features a light heavyweight contender showdown between Volkan Oezdemir and Dominick Reyes. This fight is expected to co-headline the event.
