Unbeaten Darren Till is unquestionably one of the most exciting prospects in the UFC. Freshly coming off his first-round knockout over Donald Cerrone, Till finally has his next fight scheduled.
UFC has announced that it has moved its planned May 27 event from Dublin to Liverpool, with rising Liverpudlian star Darren Till set to headline the fight card, but an opponent is yet to be announced.
Prior to his most win, Till earned back-to-back decisions over Bojan Veličković and Jessin Ayari.
No.7 at UFC’s welterweight rankings, Till has no lack of potential opponents and added that he hopes a fight with a fellow top ten fighters can be arranged.
During an interview at the UFC London weigh-ins on Friday, Till mentioned Stephen Thompson as the first choice:

“I can’t believe UFC is finally coming to Liverpool and I’m going to be headlining Echo Arena,” Till said (via MMA Junkie). “My name is going to be remembered in 200 years’ time for being part of this historical event and I can’t even describe how much that means to me.”
