- Darren Till weighed in on Dricus du Plessis vs. Khamzat Chimaev
- “The Gorilla” demands that UFC president Dana White finally make the Francis Ngannou vs. Jon Jones fight happen
Darren Till shared his candid thoughts on a potential match between Dricus du Plessis and Khamzat Chiamev as well as the controversial Francis Ngannou vs. Jon Jones fight.
Till’s DDP vs. Borz prediction
Speaking on The Ariel Helwani Show, “The Gorilla” was quizzed to predict the outcome of a possible showdown between his friend Chimaev and reigning middleweight champion Du Plessis. According to Till, both were incredible fighters but he sees “Borz” getting the better of “Stillknocks.”
“I just don’t see how DDP stops this unstoppable force like Khamzat. At the end, ‘DDP’ is so sh*t, he’s so good. Would you agree with that?… He’s so sh*t that he’s so good. Like, everything he does is wrong but just wins fights,” Till said.

Till just wants to see Ngannou vs. Jones
Till was also asked about his take on the ongoing drama surrounding the botched Ngannou vs. Jones fight. For the former UFC contender, Dana White should set aside all his issues with “The Predator” and just give the fans what they want.
“As much as I love Dana White, there’s one thing that just p***ed me off, just make the f**king fight with Francis Ngannou [and Jon Jones]. “We don’t care that you don’t like Francis and Francis doesn’t like you. Guess what?… Wow, we don’t care!,” Till exclaimed.
“Let’s just watch Jon Jones vs Tom Aspinall, Francis Ngannou vs Jon Jones and let them all fight and we’ll say, ‘Right, he’s the best right now’. We don’t care that, ‘Ooh, he said something mean to me once’… Who cares? I don’t care. Why do you care? UFC has always been the best because they make the best fights,” he added. “… I just don’t care. I care about the fight. I don’t care that Jon Jones is on the cocaine a week before the fight… I want to see Jon Jones vs. Tom Aspinall, Francis Ngannou vs. Jon Jones and then I can sit there, as a fan, and say, ‘That’s the best guy!'”

It’s easy to see why Till is convinced Chimaev would beat Du Plessis, considering how remarkable his first-round submission win over Robert Whittaker was at UFC 308. As for Ngannou vs. Jones, it’s unlikely to happen soon as White is still taking shots at “The Predator” to this day.
