Darren Till Not Worry About Rankings And Losses, Accept Mike Perry’s Challenge

Mike Perry suffered a decision loss to Santiago Ponzinibbio at UFC on FOX 26 still set his sights on undefeated welterweight contender Darren Till and not letting go of this potential bout.

Darren Till (16-0-1 MMA) remains unbooked following his dethrone of Donald Cerrone in UFC Fight Night 118’s headliner, which marked his third straight win and most high-profile victory to date.

In last weeks MMA Hour, Till claimed that a fight with Stephen Thompson would allow him to prove that he is the most superior striker in the UFC but was still open to Perry’s option.

“Platinum” took to social media where he sent Darren Till some Birthday and Christmas well wishes while individually asking for a fight in 2018.

Till seemed to have a change of heart in a response to Perry.

The recent loss dropped Perry to 4-2 as a member of the UFC roster and has gone 11-2 in his MMA career, but it did little to damage his popularity with the fans or devalue him as a draw for the promotion. Before his most recent loss to Santiago, Perry scores a vicious 79-second knockout over Alex Reyes and KO Jake Ellenberger.
