Daniel Cormier Reveals Why He Won’t Rematch “Entitled” Stipe Miocic

UFC Heavyweight Champion Daniel Cormier Describes Why He Doesn’t Owe “Entitled” Former 265-Pound King Stipe Miocic A Rematch

Stipe Miocic is one of the most successful names in the history of UFC Heavyweight division. “The Baddest Man On The Planet” defended title three times in a row before he was put to sleep by Daniel Cormier at UFC 226 on July 7, 2018.

Daniel Cormier defended the belt once since then. He submitted Derrick Lewis in the main event of UFC 230. Miocic didn’t fight since July 2018. Stipe said recently that he was the better fighter at UFC 226 and also insisted “DC” owed him a chance for the second fight.

But Daniel Cormier disagrees. He took to his Twitter and revealed why he owes nothing to “entitled” Stipe Miocic. The decorated Louisiana-born wrestler listed three reasons. Read his tweets below.

I don’t owe anyone shit!

Do you guys wanna know why I’m not fighting @stipemiocic again?

Reason 1: he’s being entitled, why have I fought since and he hasn’t. He lost the fight is he still the champ?

Reason 2: I’m hurt

Reason3: how do I do it better? I beat him in a round last time ?

It seems the rematch between Daniel Cormier and Stipe Miocic will not happen. “DC” intended to end his career with the fight against WWE star and the former UFC Heavyweight champ Brock Lesnar. But nothing is officially set at the moment. If Cormier doesn’t meet Brock, there is a solid chance for the third match against the current UFC Light Heavyweight champion and his bitter rival Jon “Bones” Jones.

Do you think Stipe Miocic deserves a rematch versus Daniel Cormier? What do you think, who is next in line for “The Baddest Man On The Planet” if he doesn’t meet “DC”?
