Daniel Cormier Reacts To Brock Lesnar Dropping WWE Title At Summerslam

Former UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar who made a memorable appearance at UFC 226 after Daniel Cormier won the title and became the second fighter in the history of UFC to hold titles in two weight divisions simultaneously.

A fight with WWE star Brock Lesnar is expected to go down early next year, with no date and venue decided yet, but that didn’t stop the two-division champion, Daniel Cormier, to take a dig at his rival.

Lesnar who headlined the WWE’s big Summerslam event ended up dropping his belt to Roman Reigns on Sunday night from inside Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y. Cormier who seem to take notice at Lesnar who looked smaller that would imply that he’s taking USADA drug testing seriously.

“Old Brock is looking smaller thru the middle,” Cormier said on Twitter as the match began. “He getting ready to really come and get that ass whipped!!!! Have fun in this [WWE] title match because when we clash I’m in that ass!!!!”

“No more title now he can come and chase mine,” Cormier said after Lesnar’s loss. “Sorry [Brock Lesnar] result will be the same!!!!”

Lesnar who’s no longer a WWE champ, so the road to UFC Octagon seems bit clear now, but he still has to serve remaining months of suspension by USADA from his 2016 no contest with Mark Hunt. He will be eligible to return to Octagon starting Jan. 8, 2019.

Cormier who’s still riding high after his brutal knockout win over Micoic and has got numerous calls from other contenders from both divisions, but Cormier still has to sign on the dotted line to confirm.

Current two-division champion is adamant that he’ll defend his 205-pound strap before his retirement, with rumors of Jon Jones returning to action run rampant, there could be a possibility of a trilogy.
