Daniel Cormier ’embraced the grind’ all over Roy Nelson’s hopes and dreams

Daniel Cormier was just faster and more awesome than Roy Nelson. That’s pretty much what it comes down to, because in the end Olympic wrestling>everything, because the 2008 men’s Olympic wrestling team is like thirty-something and 0 right now in MMA. It’s ridiculous, and there is nothing that the Kung Fu Panda in Roy Nelson could do about it.

Cormier walked Nelson down, bobbed and weaved past his heavy right hand then tossed Roy about as if he was a a furry teddy bear. For what it’s worth, Nelson’s takedown defense was pretty slick. Still, if you didn’t respect Cormier before, you have to now, as he will be making his way to 205 in earnest to chase after Jon Jones and that seemingly unattainable light heavyweight belt.

That’s the next real grind to embrace for Cormier. Making 205.
