Daniel Cormier Praises Cain Velasquez, Thinks The Mexican Would Wreck Stipe Miocic Apart!
Daniel Cormier and Stipe Miocic fought at July 7, 2018, at the main event of UFC 226. Many fans expected great wrestling game and war on the ground. Yet, Daniel Cormier landed a spectacular right hand off the clinch. He put “The Baddest Man On The Planet” to sleep via first-round KO!
The post-fight Brock Lesnar “sh*t show” made many fighters angry. Stipe Miocic was especially irritated. Brock didn’t win since UFC 116 on July 3, 2010, and the match against Shane Carwin. It’s over eight years! And he gets a title shot?
Stipe Miocic tries to get a rematch versus Daniel Cormier since then. They traded shots on Twitter in October this year. “DC” promised Miocic he would get a chance. But only if Brock Lesnar fight doesn’t happen.

This week, Stipe also reminded Cormier how badly he wants that fight.

Yet, Daniel Cormier is already a very busy man. After victory over Derrick Lewis at UFC 230 on November 3, 2018, he continues pursuing Brock Lesnar fight. He wrote an interesting message for Stipe.

Cormier stated once that Lesnar showdown brings a monstrous payday. But he also believes the victory over Brock Lesnar could make him the Heavyweight GOAT too!
If Cormier fights Lesnar, Stipe won’t have many options remaining. He could think about the potential match with the former UFC Heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez.
A fan asked Daniel Cormier on Twitter about his opinion on Velasquez Vs Miocic fight. Yet, the two-division champion thinks Cain Velasquez would beat Miocic even harder than he did! Cormier praises “Cardio Cain”.

Cormier’s tweet makes sense. Cain Velasquez is known for dominant ground and pound performance. Let’s look back at his UFC 121 title fight versus Brock Lesnar. The Mexican took “The Conqueror” down and landed over 100 punches to end the fight via first-round TKO. It was one of the bloodiest matches in the history of UFC.
There has been little talk about Cormier Vs Lesnar lately. But Brock’s manager Paul Heyman stated that nothing kept Brock Lesnar away from that match. (via BJPenn.com)
