- Dana White has discussed the issue with the UFC rankings with Mark Zuckerberg
- The UFC boss wants the Facebook founder to help make an AI-generated UFC rankings possible
UFC president Dana White has reached out to Mark Zuckerberg to ask assistance in his plan to fix the current UFC rankings.
Dana has had enough of the rankings

Speaking to TNT Sports, the UFC boss voiced his disappointment in how the UFC rankings is being made. For White, a precise example of the alleged bias in the rankings is how Khalil Rountree and Max Holloway’s recent performances had less impact on their ranks.
“Khalil [Rountree] was ahead on the scorecards and then he gets beat and he stays at number eight. I’m not saying that he should be in the top three or whatever but he should definitely move up from eight. He might not be two or three but he’s definitely not eight,” White said.
“Then you look at Max Holloway… he knocked out, if you really think about it, he beat Justin Gaethje twice that night, he beat him on the scorecards and he knocked him out with one second left… how’s he he ranked… where the hell was he? He was like 13 or something… How was ranked that low? At the point, I think Gaethje was number three and Poirier was number four, Max shouldn’t go above Poirier but he shouldn’t, you know? I could go on and on and on but I won’t,” he added.

The UFC boss discussed the issue with Zuck
White has been pushing for an AI-generated UFC rankings and apparently, he is serious about it. In fact, White revealed that he has already talked to Zuckerberg about it.
“We literally had meetings this week to work on it. I actually talked to Mark Zuckerberg, too, about AI, so yeah. I’m totally going to fix the rankings. And yeah, We’re going to make a lot of strong moves here coming into 2025,” he revealed.
All told, it is safe to say that a drastic change in the UFC rankings is expected to happen soon. Knowing White, fans could also expect some updates of its progress in the coming weeks or months.
