Clay Guida broke every record the UFC ever had for Octagon distance traveled in single fight. Some people will argue that this was a five round fight, so it wouldn’t be fair to compare it to Kalib Starnes or Houston Alexander in their respective performances. I argue the contrary, since by the end of the third round, it appears that Clay Guida had circumnavigated the octagon enough times to cover the distance between Atlantic City and Philadelphia. Even after the fight, Clay Guida continued running laps trying to high-five Gray Maynard while ‘The Bully’ continued cursing at him to stand still long enough to give him the finger. Regardless of who you think actually won the fight, two things are certain: Greg Jackson’s camp must have some amazing treadmills, and Gray Maynard ‘got some fans’ by earning the split decision victory over the exciting fighter from Chicago. Don’t take my word for it, that’s what Dana White had to say at the post fight press conference.
