- Some members of the U.S. Navy visited the UFC headquarters and watched UFC Vegas 100 live
- UFC Vegas 100’s main card delivered several notable performances
UFC president Dana White himself hosted some members of the U.S. Navy at UFC Vegas 100.
The UFC welcomes the Navy
This past weekend was a special event at the UFC headquarters in Las Vegas as White welcomed the U.S. Navy to the facility. In an Instagram post, the promotion expressed their gratitude to the member of the Navy who came to visit and enjoy UFC Vegas 100 live.
Apart from White, former UFC welterweight champion Robbie Lawler was also there to accommodate some members of the U.S. Navy.
“Honored to host the @USNavy as part of the first #VegasNavyWeek. Thank you for all you do. #UFCInTheCommunity,” the post read.
Lieutenant Jacqueline Parks was very “entertained” by the fights as she watched the action cage-side.
“These fights were awesome. This is the entertainment business, and I’m thoroughly entertained,” she said.
A great card
UFC Vegas 100 did not disappoint, especially the main card. Some of the most notable performances were Mansur Abdul-Malik’s first-round TKO victory over Dusko Todorovic and former ONE double champion Reinier de Ridder’s submission win over Gerald Meerschaert in the card’s co-main event.
The headliner was also a sight to behold as Carlos Prates viciously knocked out Neil Magny in the opening round.
