Dana White Says “Its Real” Mayweather Is In Talks For UFC Deal

UFC and Floyd Mayweather are in negotiation for making a deal that would bring the great pugilist in the MMA said by UFC president Dana White.

Undefeated boxing legend Floyd Mayweather Jr. hinted last week that he was in talks with the UFC.

“I can come right back,” Mayweather said during an Instagram live video. “If I want to, I can come right back to the UFC. I can go fight in the Octagon. I can do a three or four-fight deal in the Octagon and make a billion dollars. Remember, I’m Floyd ‘Money’ Mayweather, and you motherfu*kers love me, and I love you motheru*kers.”

Yesterday UFC commentator Joe Rogan announced on his Podcast that Mayweather is indeed speaking to UFC.

Now UFC President Dana White himself has confirmed the news that we are dealing with Mayweather for potential UFC run.

“We’re talking to Floyd about doing a UFC deal,” White told ESPN’s Brett Okamoto. “It’s real. He was talking about [boxing] Conor McGregor. Was that real? Have you heard Floyd talk about many things that aren’t real? He usually tips his hand when he’s in the media and then that s— ends up happening.

“We’re interested in doing something with Floyd. Everything is a realistic possibility. Mayweather vs. McGregor fu*king happened. Anything is possible.”

Mayweather (50-0, 27 KOs) is coming off a lucrative boxing match against UFC lightweight champ Conor Mcgregor this past August. After winning the bout via 10th round stoppage, Mayweather promised it would be the final fight of his career.

Now it seems things are taking a different turn, Mayweather could be stepping into the UFC’s Octagon in the near future.

What do you guys think, the future holds for Floyd Mayweather?
