Check out the tweets from Al Raisi reported, which break down that Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather’s second outing will be co-promoted by McGregor Sports and Entertainment, Mayweather Promotions and the UFC.

Apparently, as per sources, the UFC was set to announce Mcgregor vs Mayweather 2 and a potential newly constructed deal for McGregor at a press conference before the rampage that ensued at the Barclays Center on Thursday.

Even Mayweather Jr. revealed to Showtime that he might come out of retirement for another fight, but only if it’s in the UFC.

So Mayweather and McGregor’s rematch may be on hold while McGregor’s legal situation is finalized.

The two athletes first met August 26, 2017, in the boxing ring– where Mayweather defeated Mcgregor via tenth round stoppage– in what was the highest grossing fight in the history of combat sports.

Moreover, Owen Roddy, McGregor’s striking coach recently revealed that Mcgregor is ready to fight ASAP.

UFC President Dana White insisted that there’s nothing to the report that the idea was being considered to put together a compromised rule set in order to get the lucrative rematch signed.

However, White did have a savage response to Mayweather vs. Mcgregor 2 rumor:

“None of that is even close to true. Dumbest s*** I have ever heard.”

If there is any truth to these rumors, the UFC might be eager to get McGregor’s legal situation cleared so that they can move forward with what figures to be a hefty payday for everyone involved.
