Dana White Trying To Get Jones DQ (Illegal Downward Elbows) To Matt Hamill Overturned
Jon Jones is slated to defend his 205-pound title on July 6, 2019, against Thiago Santos in the main headliner of upcoming UFC 239 PPV event in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Jones is successfully coming off back-to-back title defenses over the likes of Alexander Gustafsson and Anthony Smith.
Despite his struggles outside of the UFC Octagon, you can’t argue with ‘Bones’ success inside of it. He never truly lost a fight in his professional fighting career besides that DQ (illegal downward elbows) showdown against Matt Hamill back in 2009 at “The Ultimate Fighter: Heavyweights” finale. Jones landed illegal elbows due to that fight stopped and handed him DQ loss. However, with time he’s getting better like fine wine.
Interesting UFC head honcho Dana White is working with Nevada State Athletic Commission to overturned Jon Jones only loss against Hamill according to MMA Sucka’s Oma Villa.

Time will tell if Jones only defeat overturned to no contest as if this happened that would mark the second of such results in his storied career.
