Dana White sounds pretty excited to make Stipe Miocic vs. Daniel Cormier 3

Dana White Miocic Vs. Cormier 3

This fight makes sense for everyone. Dana White wants it, but does Daniel Cormier?

Stipe Miocic wants it. In the build up to UFC 241, something stood out about the former champion’s dead eyes. Stipe believed he was a better fighter than DC and he was pissed he had to wait 12 months to prove it.

Must prove everyone wrong.

Must beat Cormier.

Then the Stipe Bot 9000 programmed itself to destroy DC with body shots until he won. That’s a good robot.

Speaking at Dana White’s Contender Series, it sounds like the UFC President wants to find out who the better fighter is. Perhaps even talking DC out of retirement to do so?

“I think he’s one of the best in the world. I was looking at the rankings today when they came out, it’s just ******* insane to me. This guy on Saturday night was the No. one pound-for-pound fighter in the world. He loses and drops to No. seven, and he loses to the No. one heavyweight contender in the world, and the guy who has the most consecutive title defenses in UFC history, and Cormier drops to No. seven? It’s crazy. He’s much higher than that, and he’s one of the best to ever do it. He’s still one of the best in the world.

White added.

“He looked damn good until, like I said the night of the fight, whoever came up with that ‘go to the body’ gameplan in between rounds was ******* brilliant. Brilliant. It was even more brilliant the way Stipe executed it. So, yes, I think he’s one of the best in the world, and I don’t think he should retire, but that’s up to him and his family.”

Dana White would go on to say it’s up to what Daniel Cormier and Stipe Miocic want next. Though the UFC president also says a trilogy fight next makes sense for both men.
