At some point when I was partying in New York during the Strikeforce fight week, there was a guy running around the city slashing everyone’s heads. If it were not for my undying need to sleep on my friend’s air mattress until 2pm and spend the rest of the afternoon inhabiting dive bars in the Lower East Side, then I could have been this guy’s next victim. When Joe Lozito was presented with this hazardous circumstance, he went for the single-leg and managed to subdue the guy long enough for authorities to slap handcuffs on and remind him of how big of an idiot he truly is. Yesterday, Dana White met with the Joe who credited watching MMA helped him immobilize a knife-wielding murderer in New York and FoxNY was right there with a very large video camera to capture it all.
