Dana White Lashes At Showtime’s Stephen Espinoza

Dana White unhappy with Showtime Sports insane Rant.

UFC brass Dana White trashed out showtime over Conor Mcgregor vs. Floyd Mayweather and said he would never work with them again.

Last year, Dana White teamed up with Showtime to promote the mega-crossover fight featured UFC lightweight champion Conor McGregor against Floyd Mayweather in a multi-million boxing match that broke all the records in sporting history.

Showtime Sports general manager Stephen Espinoza, who was part of the production for Mcgregor vs. Mayweather fight.

How many (PPV) buys did Conor McGregor sell when he boxed Mayweather Jr. last August in Las Vegas?

As per Dana White, “The Money Fight” broke the all-time record with 6.7 million buys. Showtime executive Stephen Espinoza, yet, distributed a press release indicates the number to be 4.4 million.

Recently, White came out and said he will “never work with Showtime again,” after the network released that the Mayweather Jr. vs. McGregor fight was the second highest North American PPV event draw of all time, falling behind the Mayweather vs. Pacquiao fight that happened back in 2015.

“Think about this and I don’t give a shit about Showtime’s fucking full of shit press release they put out — it’s the biggest fight ever. Ever in combat sports history.”

“The thing did over 6.7 million buys and if the service didn’t drop, we would have gotten closer to 7 million,” White continued. “The way that they handled that press release and what they did — I didn’t trust them before and now I despise those fucking guys. The Showtime guys, I’ll never work with them again. Ever.” recently speaking with Yahoo’s Kevin Iole.

On Friday, Espinoza responded via social media about White’s recent comments.

Espinoza tweeted, “Sounds like he’s upset because we committed the cardinal sin of telling the truth (when we released the accurate total for N. American PPV buys on MayMac).

“Strange that telling the truth, in a press release vetted by all parties in advance, is something to be ‘despised’ for.”

During Mcgregor vs. Mayweather world tour press conference, McGregor felt that he was being set up by Showtime at every step. Irishman called out Espinoza, calling him a “weasel” after his mic was turned off for a period during the first stop of the tour.

Espinoza and White don’t have the good relationship and shortly after, Notorious replied with a fiery tweet to Espinoza saying,

“Shut your weasel mouth. Who gives a fuck about the North American numbers when we are the GLOBAL KINGS you shmuck. WORLDWIDE. No.1!”

what do you think of this PPV fiasco?
