“We’re good. We are good with Khabib. You guys are still posting that shit. It happened a week ago. A lot happens in a week in this business,” said White.

“We are good, we worked everything out. We are going to get everything worked out. Obviously he was a little upset, a little fired up. We will get it all worked,” he added. “Guys get very emotional and that was a very emotional fight for him, obviously. At the end of the day, Khabib is a great guy and we have always had a great relationship. He’s staying.”

Nurmagomedov who after scoring the biggest win of his career over Conor McGregor at UFC 229, Khabib jumped over the cage fence to attack Irihamna’s coach Dillon Danis that sparked riots inside and outside the Octagon. White wasn’t happy with post-fight melee and vows to release the fighters who were involved in the brawl which include Khabib’s training partner Zubaira Tukhugo. On that Dagestani native threaten to leave the UFC if promotion fires his teammate for attacking Mcgregor in melee. UFC also scrapped Tukhugo fight against Mcgregor’s friend Artem Lobov which is to take place on October 27, 2018, and now Michael Johnson has pegged the spot instead.

When pressed about Tukhugo status, white didn’t say much it seems he’s still opted not to commit that Khabib’s teammate is staying with UFC.

“I don’t know what will happen, we will see how it plays out,” White added.

Now Khabib is staying with promotion, but it’s still unknown what kind of punishment he’ll face. We already know he’ll keep his belt, but Commision is still withholding Khabib’s fight purse of $2 million and suspended both Mcgregor and Nurmagomedov pending further investigation.
