Dana White Teases Khabib Vs Conor Rematch!

It Seems UFC Boss Dana White Hints The Second Bout Between Conor McGregor And Khabib Nurmagomedov

The rivalry between Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov is the greatest in the history of the Ultimate Fighting Championship. And it seems UFC president Dana White potentially announces the rematch!

Conor and Khabib were mocking each other on social media from time to time. But everything escalated when Khabib Nurmagomedov took part in a heated altercation with McGregor’s teammate Artem Lobov.

Conor flew to Brooklyn and threw a metal dolly on the bus full of UFC fighters Khabib Nurmagomedov was riding on. The Irishman wrecked UFC 223 apart, forcing Michael Chiesa and Ray Borg to withdraw due to lacerations.

Conor McGregor was very rude on social media during the pre-fight campaign. He went too far mentioning Khabib’s family and religion.

The undefeated Dagestani took everything personally, and it led to the infamous UFC 229 brawl, but also the highest-selling pay-per-view in the history of mixed martial arts.

The Irishman was looking for a chance for another title shot, but Khabib wasn’t interested in fighting “The Notorious” again.

Conor tried to use good old tactics to make Nurmagomedov change his mind and called his wife “a towel”. But this time, “The Eagle” took a different approach and slammed “rapist” McGregor, looking back at his sexual assault allegations.

Dana White intervened and warned both fighters to stop posting such things on social media. Conor then “ended” his beef with Khabib.

But it seems this rivalry is far from over. But at least the two are not in a Twitter war at the moment. Khabib might meet Dustin Poirier in September (though you need an expert to decode Poirier’s cryptic tweet).

Conor Vs Khabib rematch doesn’t have to happen, but it seems UFC boss Dana White leaves this opportunity open.

In a recent interview, Dana White stated that Conor and Khabib might respect each other one day, but after a course of 7-10 rounds. (h/t Lowkickmma)

“I don’t think these guys are going to friends and hanging out and going to dinner and stuff.

“But listen, when you get in there with another guy and you fight it out for what would end up being seven, eight, nine, 10 rounds between these two, there ends up becoming a sort of mutual respect.”

“And I think we will get to a point someday where these two have a mutual respect for each other. They don’t have to like each other.”

Is Dana White hinting Khabib Vs Conor 2? What are your thoughts on this?
