Dana White Highly Praises Francis Ngannou And Said: “The Guy Is A Monster.”

Cameroonian-French contender Francis Ngannou cemented himself as the division’s No. 1 contender on Saturday in all-out war fashion, knocking out Alistair Overeem in the first round at UFC 218 co-headliner inside Little Caesars Arena.

Francis Ngannou punched his ticket to a title shot vs. champ Stipe Miocic when he defeated former title challenger Alistair Overeem with a picture-perfect one-punch knockout KO.

Miocic has proven himself as a champion, floored his past four opponents with first-round knockouts KO. His inevitable encounter with Ngannou, which is expected to take place early next year 2018, is a battle of two seemingly unstoppable monsters, but only one will emerge with the gold.

As per UFC President Dana White, this guy is going to be rockstar globally.

“We’ve had some trouble getting him a fight,” White said of Ngannou’s lack of fights in 2017 (via MMAFighting.com). “But once we keep this guy active and you see him doing this to all the big stars that you know, and yeah, I think this guy’s going to be a rock star globally.”

“The guy, first of all, when you look at him, he looks like the heavyweight champion of the world,” White said. “I mean, he looks like the heavyweight champion of something. The guy is a monster.”

“He looked incredible tonight. Wow… That’s as impressive a heavyweight knockout as you’ll ever see.”

No matter when or where the fight takes place, White is very excited about promoting the heavyweight title fight.

Ngannou’s recent win over Alistair Overeem gave him six stoppage wins in six outings with the UFC.

Miocic, who is currently is 17-2 in sum. His recent destructive stoppages of Mark Hunt, Andrei Arlovski, Fabricio Werdum, Alistair Overeem, and most recently, the former champ Dos Santos.

Who do you think will emerge victorious between surging contender Francis Ngannou and Stipe Miocic?
