Dana White: “Fighters I Trash-Talked Deserved It!”

Dana White Apologizes To Nobody!

Dana White is one of the most successful businessmen ever. UFC was valued at $2 million in 2001. But Dana worked hard! UFC is now worth an impressive $7 billion! Many smaller countries of the world could only dream of that budget! White claims the main reason for such a success is the ESPN mega-deal.

Yet, Dana White knows to be really mean sometimes. In the past, he had confrontations with Mark Hunt, Georges St-Pierre, Jon Jones, and even Greg Jackson! Tito Ortiz and Randy Couture literally destroyed his nerves in the early stages of UFC.

White has recently said many bad words for Francis Ngannou and Tyron Woodley on FOX News. Guess what? An apology is not an option! According to White, all the fighters deserved everything he said. (via MMAMania.com)

“Guess what, this isn’t the fun business,” White said (via MMA Weekly). “You don’t get to go out and put on a terrible performance and act like you just did something incredible. The guys that I went after and the guys that I did that to, if you watched their performances and what happened that night, most of them deserved it.”

Francis Ngannou threw only 11 strikes for three rounds of “showdown” at Derrick Lewis. The fighters didn’t fight at all, and Herb Dean even warned both fighters two times for inactivity. The fight looked like the match between two frightened kids in the first grade. When it comes to Tyron Woodley, White had harsh comments for his fights versus Stephen Thompson and Demian Maia. He said people don’t want to look T-Wood fighting.

What are your thoughts? Why Dana White plays Dr. Jekkyl and Mr. Hide all the time? One day he is a great guy. But the next one, he starts sabotaging the whole promotion. Many UFC champions have already had a hard time with him. Should Dana White start controlling his destructive behavior? There are many subtle ways to criticize fighters!
