Dana White Discusses Conor Mcgregor’s Co-Promotion Demand: ‘We Will Get It Done.’

UFC president Dana White is not concerned over Conor Mcgregor’s recent co-promotion demands. He said things are returning to business for UFC and working on getting their transcendent star lightweight champion Notorious back in the octagon for his next fight before the end of the year.

McGregor (21-3 MMA, 9-1 UFC) raised some eyebrows on Wednesday when he said he wouldn’t return to UFC without being a co-promoter.

Mcgregor hasn’t fought under UFC since last year after scored a victory at the 155-pound title against Eddie Alvarez with a knockout in the second round at UFC 205 because he was pursuing and ultimately competed in a record-breaking boxing match with Floyd Mayweather.

Last night at UFC 217 press conference, it seemed like Dana White is ready to give him whatever he demands.

“There’s always been, as we go into negotiations with Conor [McGregor]. There’s always all kinds of crazy stuff out there. We always get deals done with Conor. Conor, he’s been easy to deal with, and we’ll get it done.”

Dana White speaking to TMZ:

“We’re planning on [McGregor fighting in 2017]. He wants to and we want him to so we’ll see what happens.

“The kid wants some money, the kids wants some stuff, [but] if there’s anybody out there that’s worth it, it’s Conor McGregor. We’ve always figured it out with him and we’ll figure it out again.”

Recently, Mcgregor revealed that competing by the end of the year is possible, but he has few demands before he steps into the Octagon. UFC also wants him to fight- that with Tony Ferguson at UFC 219 but Mcgregor wants this fight in association with his Sports and Entertainment? Talking to the media at the premiere of his film Notorious.

“I was the promoter, and I was the fighter. That must continue in order for me to continue. I’ve got many other entities and many other interests that can carry on. Also, I’m already set for life. So, they must entice me, but we’re in negotiations. I’m certainly love to fight, I certainly have a belt to defend, I’m certainly interested in that, and we’re in negotiations.
