Dana White Has No Problem With Conor McGregor Troubleshooting Past

It Looks Like Dana White Justifies Conor McGregor’s Acts Because The Notorious “Is Worth Of It”

Conor McGregor is the former UFC Lightweight and Featherweight champion. He had many controversies during 2018. His hooligan bus attack before UFC 223 literally ruined the whole event. He was even handcuffed and taken to the court.

Yet, Dana White takes a look at his behavior from the completely different angle. He doesn’t mind Conor’s troubleshooting antics. McGregor is a UFC golden goose at the moment. Dana White constantly looks for the creative ways to praise him. White once stated that Conor McGregor is his “Tyson and Ali”.

“Conor works very well with us. We’ve worked very well with him. There are obviously certain things you have to deal with, with a Conor McGregor,” White told ESPN’s “Get Up” (via MMA Weekly).

“He’s worth it.”

Now let’s remember the consequences of Conor’s hooligan bus attack. Ray Borg and Michael Chiesa had to withdraw from the match due to lacerations. Michael Chiesa even filed a lawsuit. Rose Namajunas is still paranoid and visits the therapist on a regular basis. Khabib Nurmagomedov had to face Al Iaquinta at the main event of UFC 223. Paydays were lost, mental stress reached critical points. Not to mention hospital bills.

Dana White only said the legal system should take care of The Notorious’ actions. Conor’s law team reached a plea deal to avoid jail time. He slipped through with a relatively light sentence. When it comes to Dana White, he did nothing to punish Conor’s behavior.

White also looked back the beef Conor Mcgregor had with Khabib Nurmagomedov in the middle of New York. In the positive context, of course.

“For example, the New York thing. The fact that he thought he could come here and have this beef with Khabib in the middle of New York City and the way that it was done, that’s obviously the craziest thing,” White said.

McGregor was late for an hour on UFC 229 press conference. This was his first UFC press conference after two years! Yet, Dana White stood by Conor’s side.

“Normal, typical stuff for Conor — showing up an hour late for the press conference.”

Now, let’s sum things up. Conor McGregor destroyed the bus and UFC 223. He also forced few fighters go to the hospital. He is responsible for Rose Namajunas’ traumas. He does whatever he wants. The Notorious also shut the media down recently. Coming late at the press-conference means he has no respect for anybody’s time. But Dana White obviously doesn’t care. Even if Mystic Mac is an outlaw, he brings a lot of money.

It looks like Dana White is interested in profit and nothing else. What are your thoughts on this? Do you think Dana might have gone a bit too far this time?
