Dana White Actively Pursuing Brock Lesnar Vs. Jon Jones

Disgraced former UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones still has to get through his USADA suspension, but Dana White already has big plans for him upon his return.

Rumors of a Brock Lesnar vs. Jones showdown began to emerge after Jones’ knockout victory over Daniel Cormier at UFC 217. That victory was ultimately changed to a no contest following a failed USADA test by Jones.

White revealed that the UFC is still very interested in making that superfight after being asked by TMZ:

“Jon Jones is very interested in Brock Lesnar and Brock is very interested in Jon Jones. I’ll end up figuring that out in the next month. I don’t know how that’s gonna play out. That’s up to USADA.”

Lesnar too hasn’t fought since UFC 200, after a decision victory over Mark Hunt was overturned to a no contest following Lesnar’s own failed USADA test. Lesnar’s new WWE new deal reportedly allowed him to take one UFC fight, but he has to clear USADA hurdles first.

Jones had contemplated moving to heavyweight prior to his most recent suspension, and it seems the UFC is still keen on making that fight happen between the former UFC light heavyweight and heavyweight champions.

Are you still interested in a Lesnar vs. Jones superfight?
