Damarques Johnson vs Mike Guymon is going down at UFC Fight for the Troops 2

Everyone knows that Damarques Johnson is our dude. You also know that he rocks one of the Top Ten Fades in MMA and is the baddest guy to ever wear a MiddleEasy shirt, evah. Fighting makes him smile, no really it does. It makes me smile too, but I’m not hardcore enough to get into a cage and take some elbows to the dome to prove it. I accept my shortcomings.

What you might not know is that he is also an honorary part of the MiddleEasy.com family. Just take a look at our staff page and check it out for yourself. What you also didn’t know is that Damarques Johnson’s next bout is going to be against Mike Guymon at the UFC Fight for the Troops 2 event being held January 22nd at Fort Hood, Texas. Yeehaw! I’m so excited I’m going old school and doing the wop in my living room right now. D-Zilla will be back in the cage in just under 3 months.

Damarques has received back-to-back bonuses by earning ‘Submission of the Night’ by taking out Edgar Garcia at 107 and ‘Knock-out of the Night’ at UFC 112 against Brad Blackburn. Garcia and Blackburn were both cut from the UFC after their fights with our guy. That’s pretty gangster. In his last fight against Matt Riddle, he suffered a loss and a nasty broken eye socket, but still managed to hang out with fans at the hospital which is just one of the reason we dig him so much. Guymon is coming off a recent loss to Ninja Roberts at UFC 121.
