Damarques Johnson defeats Blackburn, and the reign continues…

It’s time to clear your living room a do a few ‘Yes!’ cartwheels folks. Our dude, Damarques Johnson, just defeated Brad Blackburn late in the third round with a body kick. Kevin Iole from Yahoo! Sports reported that the first two rounds were close, but Damarques seemed to be slightly behind the score cards. See, we don’t necessarily believe that. If anything, Damarques was just enjoying himself before he realized that he should probably finish Blackburn.

Dude is an entertainer.

It looks like Damarques Johnson took a low-blow early in the first that forced him to readjust his ‘baby maker’. The fight was close throughout the first and the second with a fair exchange of boxing and takedowns. Apparently after the first round, a cut was opened up between Blackburn’s eyes. Going into the third, Damarques Johnson seemed to be down but with just a few huge elbows, Damarques sliced the cut on Blackburn’s forehead even deeper and with just one body kick, the fight was over. Damarques Johnson continues his reign in the UFC and we’re just happy that we’ve been following the dude ever since the start of his UFC career. [Source]
