Dakota Ditcheva has quickly become one of the most talked-about fighters in MMA since joining the PFL in 2022. After winning the PFL Europe tournament last year, she earned her place in the global league. Now, she’s made it all the way to the final, where she’ll face former UFC title challenger, Taila Santos. With a win, Dakota has the chance to take her career to the next level and become one of the biggest stars in the sport.

Dakota Ditcheva Responds to ‘Jealous’ Fighters Ahead of Championship Showdown

‘Dangerous’ Ditcheva has been dominating her fights, and many fans are thrilled to see what she’ll do next in her career.

She’s received plenty of praise from fellow fighters, including former PFL star Kayla Harrison, who has always spoken highly of her.

But with all the praise, Ditcheva has also faced criticism, which she believes comes from some fighters being ‘jealous’ of her success.

“Definitely, there is definitely a little bit of jealousy I think, and a bit of frustration from a few fighters and I get it,” Ditcheva said in an interview with MMAFighting.

“It’s a business we have to be able to sell these fights in order to get paid, if you wanna get paid do something, like make your fight exciting or get on social media and make an effort.

“The people who are mad at certain fighters making money but if you look at the ones that are making money, it’s their personalities in the sport or the fighters that are doing something different.

“I don’t know why anyone is getting frustrated with me because honestly, I’m just getting what I can out of my years in the sport and I feel like that would be the clever thing to do,” Ditcheva continued.

Ditcheva is really surprised that people think she’ll win big against Taila Santos.

She’s done really well in all her fights and hasn’t lost, so she’s going into the championship fight as a favorite. But she didn’t expect this because Santos once almost beat Valentina Shevchenko in a UFC fight.

The 26-year-old girl from Britain is really, really liked by people and is the favorite at -370. Taila Santos from Brazil is liked less and has +265. The only other time Santos wasn’t the favorite was when she fought Shevchenko.
