Undefeated Khabib Nurmagomedov who have been calling out ‘Chicken’ Conor McGregor for a fight for some time now and said Irishman will never defend his lightweight belt, now that he’s replaced McGregor as UFC lightweight champion wants it known his reign will be different. And now it’s led to a Russian supermarket labeling its frozen chickens after “Conor McGregor.”
This could be the first time in MMA history that a piece of meat was named after a twice-stripped champion.
This marketing stunt is surely a way to show support in honor of newly-crowned UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov, who sealed the victory over of Al Iaquinta at UFC 223 this past weekend.
Check out the video footage that has surfaced showing a man wanders into a supermarket and pick up a frozen chicken with a name read ‘Conor McGregor’ in Russian:

After the victory, Khabib Nurmagomedov made a reference to Mcgregor that he’s ready to fight ‘chicken’ again.
Nuramgomedov first used word ‘Chicken’ date back in his post-fight interview at UFC 205, to describe McGregor for his famous defeat to Nate Diaz.
McGregor currently has the more pressing matter of legal proceedings to consider after his rampage on Thursday following UFC 223 media day at Barclays Center.
