When we take a look at the report from BJPenn.com, the fight between Curtis Blaydes and Alistair Overeem is almost booked, according to ESPN’s Brett Okamoto. The two will probably face at UFC 225, and this will be a great showdown.

Curtis Blaydes is full of self-confidence after a huge victory over Mark Hunt at UFC 221. After surviving a first-round knockout, he was repeatedly taking Hunt down and secured the victory. With the score of 9 victories, 1 no contest, and 1 defeat (Francis Ngannou), Blaydes will be a tough assignment for “The Demolition Man”.

The Dutch Kickboxing superstar, Alistair Overeem, has an impressive score of 43 victories, 16 losses, and 1 no contest. After the defeat from Francis Ngannou at UFC 218, this is his chance for redemption, despite he has a very tough rival. The former kickboxing champion has defeated Mark Hunt and Fabricio Werdum prior to Ngannou loss. Overeem is ranked #2, while Blaydes is ranked #5.

Two fights are booked for sure at UFC 225 for now. These are Claudia Gadelha vs Carla Esparza (Strawweight), and Joseph Benavidez vs Sergio Pettis (Flyweight).
