UFC In Works To Book Cub Swanson vs. Kron Gracie For October 12
UFC is working on booking a showdown between jiu-jitsu sensation Kron Gracie and Cub Swanson for a Fight Night MMA event on October 12 as per ESPN’s Brett Okamoto.

The former World Extreme Cagefighting (WEC) star Swanson last fought back in May where he suffered a split-decision to Shane Burgos at UFC Ottawa. Before that, he dropped three straight bouts against Renato Moicano, Frankie Edgar and to Brian Ortega. ‘Killer’ is overall 25-11 as a pro.
Kron made his promotional debut earlier this year at UFC on ESPN 1, where he scored a first-round submission win over Alex Caceres in Phoenix, Arizona and improves his score to 5-0 overall.
An interesting fact about ‘Ice Cream Kron’ is that all his wins came via submission and Swanson lost his seven bouts in MMA career via submission. So Cub Swanson will for sure look to keep the fight standing for success.
Kron and Swanson will likely to co-headline the Fight Night event on ESPN+ on October 12 and rumor are that the event will take place at Chase Center in San Francisco, California. And the main headliner bout is set between former strawweight champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk and Michelle Waterson.
