Few fighters have been more entertaining than one Kevin Luke “Cub” Swanson in this calender year. He gave us the George Roop hovering mouthpiece knockout of shock and awe, the Ross Pearson mid-air, back-peddling TKO of glory, and of course – last night’s MMA equivalent of the five point exploding heart technique that detonated in Charles Oliveira’s skull, only after he took 3 steps. Little did we know that Cub Swanson wasn’t ready to stop knocking out everything around him with his formidable fists, he took out a bottle of water and knocked it right into his cornerman’s face with a nonchalant celebration that showed the type of accuracy and power he’s known for.
Be wary of giving Cub Swanson a bro-fist greeting, he may break your hand without trying.
