Cro Cop is interested in replacing Shane Carwin at UFC 125

Whenever a job application asks me what talents I have, it’s hard not to tell them that I know all the words to every song from the Wu-Tang Forever album. One day that’s going to be a recognized talent. I can play Contra really good, that needs to be approved. I can get an extra couple of cheese sticks when I order six. That’s a talent too that has a tasty reward if marinara sauce is involved. I got another talent, I can eat a cheese stick without marinara sauce. Unfortunately, I can’t soccer kick someone’s brain through the fabric of time and space. Leave that to Mirko Cro Cop.

In a recent interview with Fighters Only Magazine, Cro Cop suggested that he would be more than game to take Shane Carwin’s place in a bout with Roy Nelson at UFC 125.

“I know nothing about it, this is the first I heard of it. But it would be an interesting fight for sure. I think Roy’s style matches very well with mine, we could have a good fight. I didn’t hear anything from the UFC yet, but lets see if they call me.”

It’s going to be tough to find a replacement in only nine weeks to fight a guy that describes his fighting style as ‘Kung-Fu’. On a sidenote, Roy Nelson looks like a larger template for every hipster in Silverlake, California. [Source]
