Cris Cyborg's doctors are preventing her from cutting down to 135 lbs

If ZUFFA wants to break PPV records, the biggest fight that could possibly be assembled is a title fight between Gina Carano and Ronda Rousey. Don’t look at it from a competitive stand point because at this point Ronda Rousey would yank Carano’s limbs off and use them as nunchucks. In order to shatter PPV records, ZUFFA needs to target the audience that have never dropped cashed on a UFC PPV. There’s no reason to market the fight to MMA fans. They already have us. It’s a waste of advertising dollars.

In a hypothetical fight between Gina Carano vs. Ronda Rousey, ZUFFA could grab the uninformed female audience by reiterating that in the 20 years of UFC, it would be the first female fight in the organization’s history. To get the uninformed male audience, just consistently show how attractive yet deadly both women are. That’s really all dudes need. We’re not as complicated as women. Men don’t need guides to operate the inner-workings of our minds.

There you go, UFC. I just gave you an eight-figure idea in two paragraphs. There’s no need to build a shrine to me in ZUFFA’s office. All I request is to place me in the front of press row. I’m tired of looking at the back of Kevin Iole’s head.

We’ve heard Cris Cyborg mention that it was impossible for her to cut from 145 lbs to 135 lbs to fight Ronda Rousey, but according to a story on MMAWeekly, her doctors are preventing her from cutting weight due to potential health issues that could arise.

Members of Cris Cyborg’s camp confirmed to MMAWeekly.com on Tuesday that she visited with her heart doctor and was told that a cut to 135lbs would just not be safe based on her personal physical health. Her cardiologist stated emphatically that he would not sign off on a move down a weight class based on her current health.

The dangers to her body could also prohibit Santos from carrying a child later in life, and according to her camp, that was a risk the former Strikeforce champion was unwilling to make for any fight.

The heart thing I can understand — but who really wants to have kids anymore? The earth is overpopulated as it is and there are an innumerable amount of children that have no parents. Let’s just adopt and make ‘live child birth’ a thing of the past. Vote Zeus for 2016.
