Conor McGregor’s Father Breaks Silence On Reports That Conor’s Life Is In Danger

UFC lightweight champ Conor Mcgregor’s name is buzzing in media with controversies from past several weeks.

As per Irish crime reporter Paul Williams, McGregor’s life could be in danger following an altercation in the Black Forge Inn in Dublin over the weekend involving Notorious and a number of men connected to the Kinahan gang.

Irish social media was abuzz earlier this week that Notorious had allegedly gotten into an altercation with some men in the Black Forge Inn, including a man aged in his 50’s who was connected to convicted drug baron Graham “The Wig” Whelan.

According to McGregor’s Dad Tony McGregor, that’s all bollocks.

“That’s all nonsense, that is,” said Tony. “Absolute nonsense. It’s an absolute nonsense story.

“It’s grown legs and it’s getting that ridiculous – it’s become funny. We have nothing to fear here whatsoever. There’s no one after us for anything.

“We’re a law-abiding family and we’ve stayed a law-abiding family.”

Conor McGregor’s father was then asked if the Irish police have been in contact with the McGregor family and Tony reacted that:

“Guards have no reason to be in touch. Why would they?”

When asked where Conor was, Tony replied that he was simply at home with his baby and girlfriend.

“We’re all just settling down for Christmas now. I’ve just got the grandson’s presents in today, they just came in from America.

“I’ll be wrapping them, putting them under the tree for the big day. That’s it.”

He further added:

“As a matter of fact, right now I’m going out to buy my TV licence. I’d view 95% of that story as nonsense and the other 5% is overly exaggerated. And that’s it.”
