Once you know more about something, sometimes you find out you know nothing at all. I don’t mean to get philosophical for Sunday brunch, but that’s just how the cosmos works. Today, Conor McGregor appeared on SportsCenter for a “Sunday Conversation” and told us everything and nothing. However, the (still) current UFC Featherweight champion gave us just enough nuggets to keep us interested, like a true promoter.
Most importantly, McGregor described the pissing contest between the UFC and him to be a publicized “Civil War” but without a Spider-Man cameo. His reasons to decline media were the same as before, but said in hindsight that he probably should’ve just got on a plane. However, sometimes you just have to do something right for yourself… especially after making the company 400 million dollars.
The other highlight of the interview is McGregor giving some of the details in the rumored Mayweather fight. One thing preventing it besides, you know, reality? McGregor’s money.
Watch the interview in two parts below and h/t as always to Zombie Prophet: The Resurrected.
