Conor McGregor says when he's 30, he'll 'be considered in the same light as Anderson Silva'

Conor McGregor is 24-year-old — so in six years Anderson Silva will be 44 and Conor McGregor will be 30-years-old. All of that just proves that I’m fairly decent in elementary school math — there was no other purpose.

For some reason we believe McGregor had a backpack filled with ulterior motives when he stated that by the age of thirty he will be considered the pound-for-pound champion in an interview he did with Ireland’s ‘The Independent.’

It makes no difference who I fight. It will be the same outcome. First round and it will be over. It’s not going past a minute. My US debut . . . it’s going to be insane.

By the time I’m 30, I’ll be the pound-for-pound champion and I’ll be considered in the same light as Anderson Silva. That’s six years from now.

There was one other fighter that made a similar statement at his age — and things didn’t work out that well for Brandon Vera. Quite frankly we’re not certain if McGregor is indeed telling the truth since we are unable to locate our flux capacitor. Unfortunately we’ll have to wait six years like everyone else.
