Former UFC superstar Conor McGregor has revealed a deeply personal and spiritual experience that he says transformed his life. The ex-fighter detailed undergoing Ibogaine treatment in Tijuana, Mexico, which he credits with healing his mind, body, and soul while protecting his family from potential harm.
“I was shown what would have been my death. How soon it was to be, and how it would have impacted my children. I was looking down on myself as it happened, and then I was looking out from the coffin. God then came to me in the Holy Trinity. He is MIGHTY! Jesus descended from the white marble steps of heaven and anointed me with a crown. I was saved! My brain. My heart. My soul. Healed!”
McGregor’s story comes after an eventful career in mixed martial arts. He rose to prominence in the UFC, capturing both the featherweight and lightweight titles, and became one of the most recognizable fighters worldwide. His tenacity inside the cage earned him multiple record-breaking pay-per-view events and a reputation for flamboyant personality outside of competition.
However, McGregor’s career has also been marked by controversy. He faced numerous civil and criminal legal cases, including being found liable for a 2018 sexual assault in Dublin. Despite appeals and public scrutiny, he has maintained a public persona blending MMA fame with business ventures and political aspirations.
Earlier this year, McGregor attempted a run for the presidency of Ireland, though he was unable to get his name on the ballot. He attributed the failed political bid to flaws in the Irish system and has expressed ongoing interest in pursuing leadership roles in the future, often drawing comparisons to right-wing political figures abroad.
The Mexico Ibogaine Experience
Amid these challenges, McGregor sought a radical form of therapy to address trauma and gain clarity. In a lengthy social media post, he described the intense hallucinogenic treatment and its life-altering effects.
“This treatment is worth its weight in GOLD! It is very, very tough, but it absolutely saved my life, and in turn saved my family. Thank you for all your inspiration, motivation, encouragement, well wishes, support, and most importantly, for your prayers! THEY WORKED! I am my child again. But this time with the knowledge of my adult!”
He spent 36 hours under the treatment and said that it restored him to a renewed sense of purpose and spiritual awareness. McGregor emphasized the importance of faith and family in his post, claiming he now lives fully aligned with God’s guidance.
“To God, I am yours!! Thank you for bestowing upon me this incredible blessing that I take with great care and absolute seriousness! I live my life per your word and nothing more. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! Your Great Grandson, Conor McGregor.”
Hey guys, I am back. ❤️
I was blessed to meet the most forward thinking doctors from Stanford University and undergo a series of treatments to address trauma.
I travelled to Tijuana Mexico and underwent Ibogaine treatment at AMBIO.
